10 tips to make profit with Google AdWords

Successfully work with Google AdWords!

  1. Make a list with keywords, which suit to your company or your offers or products. Thanks to the broad variety of keywords you can advertise your words starting at 0,05 Euros.
  2. Use spelling mistakes and old/new orthography to find keywords that aren’t included in the pages of your competitors. In case you have e.g. an emergency locksmith service do not only write keys, but also „keyss“, „keis“ or „ceys“. The variety of spelling offers you a large radius in which you reach your customers. Possibly your competitors haven’t thought about the one or other way of misspelling „keys“?
  3. The position of AdWords adverts are not determined by the clicking price you are willing to pay. Google evaluates the relevance and the quality of your advert to get a position for it. The more clicks an advert has, the higher it will be ranked.
  4. The title of the AdWords advert has to be attention seeking. By using the keyword in the title you are likely to get more clicks on your advert. So, with your keyword in the title line your advert gets more attention of the users and thus more clicks!
  5. Tell one or two reasons in your advert text why the user should click at this advert. Which problem does your product or service solve? Are you cheaper or do you ship freely?
  6. Google AdWords offers keyword options, which you should study closely. You can ensure that your AdWords advert just appears when the internet user only searches for your exact keyword without the combination of any other word.
  7. Only use „exclusive keywords“. These are keywords for which your advert should be published. This way you don’t have to pay for clicks which one enters, who is on the search for something free or just a brochure.
  8. Create for every keyword or AdWords advert a landing page which has to do with your keyword. There you can especially offer things for which the users are searching.
  9. If the price for a product or a service is mentioned in the AdWords advert, you are already excluding everyone who is searching for free or gratis searchers.

    10. Measure the success of your campaigns. Clicking rates are less important than costs for a wished transaction (purchase, signing up, request)               (CPA = Cost per Action).
